WOW! Where to begin when we've been gone for 4 stinkin' weeks and haven't even been able to update on Nov. OR Dec.?! I have SO MANY pictures to catch up on for all of those picture lovers! I'll do my best...
* We were able to take Kennedy to another Razorback football game b/f the season came to an end, but this one was abnormally warm for a Nov. game. It was beautiful weather and we loved every minute of it! We ran into several close friends b/f and after the game, and we even got a chance to get Kennedy and Bella (who I used to watch for a year and a half out of my home) together. Their faces were PRICELESS when they saw each other b/c it had been a while. And, Miss B just kept rubbing Kennedy's face once she saw her. They talked it up a little, compared hair-do's, admired K's hog tattoo, took a picture w/ the female Razorback mascot, and danced like crazy as the Razorback Marching Band played up in the stands behind us. They had a blast and I enjoyed catching up w/ Lauren (Bella's Momma) just as much! We can't wait to meet little Max in just a few short months, and it's pretty exciting that both girls will then have little brothers to love on and help take care of. Looking fwd. to getting the girls together again soon hopefully!
It was a really fun day and we're so thankful Kennedy was able to be @ the game w/ us! Now to get Will into one! ...gotta break 'em in early! : )

Kennedy zoned out right around nap time for a few minutes on Daddy's shoulder, but quickly informed us that she "wasn't tired". You be the judge.
* One of the last Razorback home game weekends back in Nov. brought lots of family to our house again! Just like a couple previous games in the season, my Mom's side of the family (as well as some of Dad's) all tailgated @ our house b/f the f.b. game. However, this time we had a couple extra special family members there! Mom and Dad were watching our nephew (Ayan) and niece (Lyla) that wknd., and therefore brought them along. It was certainly a crazy wknd. w/ all four kiddos here...but oh so fun too!
Kennedy and Ayan had a fantastic time catching up on time apart it seemed and played their little hearts out! We were so pleased with just HOW well they did play together though. We've all said over and over again ever since Ayan came home from Kazakhstan that they are truly each other's best friend, and that they play better together than each of them do w/ a single one of their little friends it appears. Even though we certainly don't get to see Steph/Aaron (my sis' and bro-in-law) NEAR as often as we would like...we're thankful for how close are children are and will prayerfully continue to be. We thoroughly enjoyed tailgating w/ the entire family, spending quality time w/ Mom and Dad for a couple of days, and obviously loving on our neice and nephew!

Leah (my cousin's wife) and Lyla (niece)
Patrick catching a little shut-eye after getting up early that morning to go hunting b/f family started arriving.
Boy do I love this face!

Cousin Kennedy can NEVER get enough of Lyla
I love watching the events unfold in these next several pictures...it was hilarious!
p
Love these next two of course
Ayan and Kennedy loved waving to the cars driving by behind the house Sat. morning.
Then they randomly became infatuated w/ the aquarium on Will's crib.
Right around the time lil' man began scooting...as you can see that he's moved completely off of his blanket.
* We had a fun pre-Thanksgiving get-together w/ Patrick's family out in Huntsville one Fri. night and Sat. (sorry-not many pics) w/ delicious food prepared by my mother-in-law, nail painting by Aunt Kimberly, and some fun Christmas shopping around town in HV w/ "just the girls" Sat. Later that night, however, we took the kids to see the lights downtown Fayetteville on the Fayet. Square. We got there just in time to see the Christmas parade, which Kennedy really enjoyed of course! We really want to make this a family tradition if possible every year. Not to mention how awesome it is to think that my Dad was one of the very first people to start the 'lighting of the square' tradition many, many years ago when he and Mom were living in NWA after college. It was certainly cold that night, but we had a great time nevertheless!

Will chillin' w/ Aunt Jen while we all played a little Catch Phrase

I LOVE this picture of the 2 of them
* We were able to spend an evening w/ some of our favorite people out in Bentonville, Jennifer and Michael (and their fun new additions-Holly and Macy). Kennedy wasn't loving all of their energy, barking, or jumping @ first...but she warmed up to them and then didn't want to leave. Will, on the other hand, LOVED them!
* Will tried baby food for the first time and obviously liked it SO much more than cereal. Even though he made some horrible faces the first couple of bites, he soon realized how much he loved the new taste! We still really haven't found a type of baby food that he doesn't like. He's a great eater and we can't complain! But I sure am glad we have these awesome pictures to document his first go at it. : )
* We celebrated Thanksgiving by hopping b/w Patrick's Mom's side of the family @ his Mema's home in Ft. Smith and my Mom's side of the family @ Nana and Grandad's home also in Ft. Smith. We had a blast w/ both and always cherish the several days we spend in Ft. Smith w/ family over the holidays. This year we were also joined by our dear friends, the Moreno's (former Hispanic pastor @ our church in Springdale and family), for Thanksgiving lunch @ Mema's. It was great to spend the holiday w/ them as well as it is their last Thanksgiving in the states b/f moving to MX, and wish we could repeat it every year.

* Post-Thanksgiving events included lots of quality family time @ both Mema's and Nana/Grandad's. The kids played games outside @ both houses w/ their cousins, the ladies on Mom's side of the fam. had a fun recipe exchange party/bake-off @ the farm, the whole family watched the AR vs. LSU game together like tradition every Thanksgiving wknd., and we of course made time to jump in the leaves w/ Ayan and Kennedy as well. Some of our favorite days of the year!

* And then...
Kennedy got her first stomach virus immed. after Thanksgiving. : ( It was horrible seeing her feel so miserable, and it certainly wasn't fun being home by myself w/ both kids @ the time. But thankfully, Patrick hurried home soon after it started and we worked as a team the rest of the evening and following day. The couple of days following involved several popsicles, crackers, Sprite (quite a treat for her to say the least), and of course some purple Pedialyte and juice. She is and always has been one of the happiest sick kids I've EVER seen. We were just thankful it passed fast!
