This past July 4th family get-togethers were "extra special" for our family! One yr. ago on that wknd. we announced that we were expecting to both sides of our family. We spelled out 'WE'RE PREGNANT' in sparklers once it got dark outside & then enjoyed celebrating w/ each & every member of our families. It was so much fun remembering those fun details one yr. later!
Kennedy (surprisingly) wasn't scared one bit of the insane amt. of fireworks that our cousins/uncles shot off. She actually even fell asleep outside on the covered patio watching them! Gammi said, "Only your daughter would fall asleep outside in the midst of booming rockets sounding off in the distance!" It was great fun introducing Lil' Miss to some of the extended family members who hadn't been able to meet her yet.
