A couple weeks b/f classes started @ the U of A, we held our 2nd ever F.R.E.E. wknd. w/ the MBSF students. Many of our students returned to Fayetteville for the wknd. from being @ their separate homes for Summer break and had a BLAST together Fri. night-Sun. afternoon.
We try to plan different things each yr. around town to introduce new students to the area & let returning students have a little fun around NWA. We all attended a Friday night fellowship @ a church member's home, played a little volleyball, all went to the drive-in together to watch 2 movies, ate a homemade pancake breakfast Sat. morning, spent several hrs. on Beaver Lake during the day Sat., had a cook-out @ the park Sat. evening b/f going bowling w/ everyone, all went to church Sun. morning, and ended the wknd. w/ a home-cooked college lunch after church provided by several of our church members. It was an exhausting, full, FUN weekend!
Kennedy missed the first half of the wknd. b/c she spent a few days in Ft. Smith w/ Aunt Vicki, Uncle Kirk, Elise, Nana and Grandad. However, the activities she did get to attend she didn't stop talking a/b for days afterwards. It was great for several of the students who hadn't met Will ever since he was born to get their first chance to hold him and talk to him.
This wknd. really got everyone excited a/b moving back to campus in just a little over 2 weeks!
(Well...now they're all back safe and sound, and our Fall semester in MBSF has gotten off to a FANTASTIC start already! Several posts to follow in the coming weeks and months I'm sure!)

Cute pix - you guys keep VERY active!! :) Fun times - love the pix of Kennedy with the pink hat on backwards!! Adorable! And Will is just so cute & alert! He's grown so much! Have a great week!
