We recently had to tell some of our very close friends, the Moreno's, "Goodbye" as they were having to return to MX for a handful of years or so. The details are not important anymore, but faithful prayers certainly are. We certainly wouldn't ever be fully ready to see them go, but we're hoping and praying that the new work they're starting in MX will be very blessed during their time there.
Many might remember from a previous post that they were the friends we traveled with on our 2 1/2 week-long journey to Phoenix, AZ (back in Dec.). Bro. Moreno has been the Hispanic pastor @ our church for many years, and his wife/daughters have been very much a part of his work as well. They were and still are perfect travel partners, wonderful listeners, faithful prayer warriors, loyal friends w/ hearts of gold, and SO much fun to be around! We already miss them so bad and it just doesn't feel the same around here without them.
Here are a few pictures from the beginning of '07 when the Moreno family met Kennedy for the first time. Precious moments.

And here are some pictures from our last few days with them, which included a long dinner full of talking and sharing memories together as well as the 'Moreno Family Celebration' held @ our church the Sat. b/f they left. We wished the whole world could have been there to thank them for their faithful service to the Hispanic population here in Springdale for all of these years, but we really hope that they felt special and extremely loved b/f they left.
Please pray for this sweet, precious family as Bro. Javier will be pastoring a church there, and the 3 lovely ladies in his life (wife - Miriam and daughters - Kenia and Thania) will also be adjusting to their new "home" over these next several weeks and months. We love them more than they probably even know...
