Here are just some of the "bigger" events we've had going on over the past month...
Brittany and Doug, two of the students in our MBSF ministry, got married! We were asked and were able to be involved in many things while leading up to their wedding as well as on their big wknd. It was a BUSY wknd., but we would do it all over again! Once their shower was successfully hosted, the reservations were made for the rehearsal dinner, my veil and shoes were passed off for borrowing, the sound system was all set up, the food was perfectly prepared for the reh. dinner, and the decorations were in place for the ceremony and reception...we were able to enjoy their beautiful day w/ them. Several of the students were such a great help that entire wknd.
They are so excited a/b their future together, and we couldn't be more thrilled for them! They've always been so faithful to MBSF and we're so grateful!

Wedding day:
The first part of June, we took the kids to the Diamond Hogs Regional Championship game in Fayetteville. It was Will's 1st Razorback baseball game, and it's safe to say that he's a fan! The weather was surprisingly pleasant outside and besides the length of the game...both of the kids had a blast! Who doesn't love post-season games when the Hogs were playing so well?! Kennedy enjoyed her favorite treat too, cotton candy! It was a last minute decision to go b/c of the cost involved w/ a family of four...but we're so thankful that Patrick/Daddy decided to treat us. I even got to visit w/ 1 of my best friends from college who I haven't seen in FOREVER, and meet her new husband as well! It was such a fun evening!
Another fun evening this Summer was spent w/ our friends, Jared and Angie. They hosted all of the youth from church over to their house for a pool party in their new pool, and we were invited to join them! Some of our other good friends, the Pates, were there w/ us as well. We all spent the evening laughing @ the teens, playing w/ the kids, eating and eating some more, and of course...swimming. It was an awesome evening outside under the stars and NO one wanted to leave!
Jared and Angie's youngest, Lydia, is not much younger than Kennedy and they are the greatest of friends. It's pretty sweet to watch, and Ang and I really enjoyed doing so that night. : ) They had a little "picnic" inside, did a little dancing, did a LOT of playing, and spent majority of the evening on the big step in the pool goofing off. They are quite a pair!
Kennedy is still not a huge fan of the water w/ her recent fear that started last Summer for some reason. However, we're hoping that swim lessons (scheduled for later this Summer) help that! Will, however, loves the water @ this age! He actually doesn't have enough fear of it @ times. : )
