Jason Castro concert down @ the Harbor

One of the most exciting events of our wk. in TX w/ Steph, Aaron & Ayan was the welcoming home events for 'American Idol' finalist Jason Castro. Voted off fourth to last (right b/f the final 3 were announced) this past season on Amer. Idol, Jason Castro is the "dread-head" from his hometown of Rockwall, TX. Steph & Aaron's previous house was actually located in Rockwall, but their current town still neighbors it. The harbor on the lake in Rockwall is GORGEOUS & any of these pictures STILL won't do it justice. It's one of my favorite places to go when we come in town. Yummy restaurants, cute shops, huge fountains to run through, & beautiful views.
We met several of their friends @ the harbor for the concert too & enjoyed the lovely evening and great weather together on the lawn. We came directly from the Ft. Worth Zoo to the concert, so it was a FULL day for everyone! There's nothing like a good 'ole summer concert down on the lawn while eating a picnic dinner & watching the boats pull up to the harbor to experience it all as well. Wow!
Thanks to Gammi & Pops for the great Christmas gift AGAIN...the wagon came in VERY handy covering the lg. ground area & hills that night. Our arms would have fallen off or the kids would have been so tired walking otherwise. Kennedy even fell asleep in the wagon on the walk back to the car later that evening. We didn't even know that was possible!
