Summer vacation '08

We headed to Seaside Beach (actually Seacrest-down from Seaside) FL the end of June through the first wk. of July for a family vacation w/ 3 other couples. Seaside is located b/w Destin & Panama City in FL, and it was my first time to visit this exact spot on the Gulf. It was actually Kennedy AND Patrick's first trip in general to the Gulf...which made everything that much more exciting! It was an absolutely fabulous wk.!
One of the couples we stayed with in the beach house are some of our best friends from college @ the U of A. We were all in the Marching Razorbacks together in college & have remained best friends ever since. It was a blast spending a wk. w/ them b/c we don't get to see each other as often as we would all like due to living an hr. apart. They brought 2 other couples w/ them who we met for the first time on the vacation & even became great friends w/ throughout the wk.
The Lord gave us all wonderful traveling grace, beautiful weather (except for straight rain the first full day), fantastic fellowship w/ awesome Christian friends, and a cherished week FULL of life-long memories made in our family! It was such a blast spending an entire wk. together as a family without any other concerns or distractions.
Here are a series of photos from our wk. in the sun!

Lindsey!! thank you for the sweet comment on my facebook page - I decided to write back here so that I can give you my real blog site: www.kevinandmegan.blogspot.com the other site is really just pictures we update every now and then for the parents and grandparents - it will probably be used a little more once little DeShazo arrives! I hope all is well with the Pulley family - sweet little Kennedy is growing up so fast!!!

There's just something about the beach that makes all cares float away! So glad you all got to get away together with friends and enjoy yourselves. I can't seem to find where to see any pictures though. I am sure you have a super nice tan! :)
