In b/w our So. Carolina family visit & taking the children/youth from church to camp, we enjoyed a very BUSY wk. @ home. It mainly consisted of doing laundry, cleaning house, catching up on work (for P), watching the babies everyday (for me), church, & setting up the 2 kiddee pools in the backyard.
Patrick recently fenced off the sideyard part of our backyard to make a "play" area for Kennedy & the babies each day. It has been truly needed on a LOT of days...but esp. on the days when all 3 are here! He put up a 1/2 fence so the kids could still see through to the rest of the backyard & to the dogs/dog house as well. It's a nice (partly shaded) poop-free area!
The slide we bought Kennedy for her 1st birthday, the outdoor sand/water table I got from a garage sale, the newly improved swingset that Patrick fixed up (w/ 2 infant/toddler swings hanging from it), and our 2 kiddee pools fill up the area nicely. The swingset was left in our yard 3 yrs. ago from the previous owners of our house. We never got it hauled off & instead decided to take off the broken (see-saw) part of the set, sand the entire OUTDATED paint job down, & re-paint the entire swingset black. Needless to say...Patrick did a GREAT job & it looks very sharp! Now we just add new pieces to it as we want or need to.

The kiddee pools were a HUGE hit w/ the babies for the most part! I also enjoyed one of my best friends & her 2 girls coming over for a play date the same day that we tried out the pools. It certainly is a LONG process getting 3 babies fed/changed/in swimsuits/in swim diapers/covered in sunscreen/etc.!!! Whew! There will certainly be MANY more pool pics to come the rest of the summer I'm sure!
