The 4th day in FL (3rd on the beach due to rain the 1st day) we enjoyed ourselves immensely! Our day mainly consisted of:
* Patrick & Nick boogie-boarding as usual
* Lindsey & I building an elaborate sand mermaid (sand castle style) on the beach
* Patrick & Nick taking a small break mid-day from the sun to go into town for some delicious Chick-Fill-A
* Kennedy playing w/ her sand toys for HOURS
* Patrick, Nick & Jason swimming only 20-30 ft. away from SEVERAL dolphins

The guys didn't even realize the dolphins in the water, much less what close proximity they were to them. Lindsey & I had to get their attention while out in the ocean & point them out. We got some awesome video footage of it all! There were atleast 6-8 dolphins! Who knew they would be able to swim w/ dolphins for FREE?! WOW!
After our enjoyable last day on the beach, we cleaned up & headed into Panama City for dinner @ the marina. All 4 couples ate @ a fantastic seafood restaurant called 'Boatyard'. It was great food & a lot of fun watching the nightly cruise (boat) come in & out from the marina loading more people. Patrick even caught on to some people nearby searching for starfish off the dock. He joined right in & caught us a few right then & there. It was such a blast!
After dinner, Jon & Em headed back to Seacrest to the house while Nick & Lindsey drove Patrick & myself down the main strip of Panama City beach. It was exciting to see the different resorts, condos & homes along Panama City beach. We made 1 stop @ a local souven. shop where you can hold live alligators & see all sorts of other live animals (sharks, etc.).
We headed out a few hrs. later to drive through the night back to AR. It was a LONG night & a tough drive on no sleep, but we were determined to make it home for my family's 4th of July celebration Fri. afternoon/evening.

What a blessing of a wk. we had in FL! It was JUST the break & vacation that we needed b/f an EXTREMELY BUSY Fall semester kicks off for MBSF.

Now how many people can say they've actually held an alligator? Now you can! That is so neat. Kennedy's hat is adorable and it's great that she enjoyed the beach as well. Love your mermaid!
