Meet our new niece!

For any & all who haven't heard already...my sister and brother-in-law, Steph & Aaron, recently adopted their 2nd child. We welcomed Miss Lyla Dawn Hamilton into our family on Saturday, July 18th, 2009! She was born on July 16th weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. They went the domestic adoption route this time, as opposed to adopting internationally like they did our nephew Ayan. We our so proud of our new niece and can't wait to see what all the Lord has in store for her in the near future! She is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and is such a sweet baby girl. We're so glad we got to be there when they brought her home from the hospital and experience her first few days @ home!
Steph is loving having a newborn, Aaron is a very loving and adoring father to her, and Ayan is so sweet w/ her as well. We just got home last wk. from a family vacation in Colorado (pics coming soon), where we were all able to spend an entire week w/ Lyla. It is going to be incredible having Will and Lyla grow up only 2 months apart, since Kennedy and Ayan are only 19 days apart & love each other so much! What a blessing! The Lord CERTAINLY knew what He was doing when we created each of these beautiful children (cousins) so close in age. ...we're so thankful.

And here are just some pictures taken during our time in TX. Kennedy and Ayan had SUCH a wonderful time together! PLUS, my former college roommate (of all 4 yrs. @ the U of A), Sarah, drove from Ft. Worth to come see us and meet Will. It was awesome to finally see her after so long, and we loved getting to catch up.
We just wish Patrick wasn't ending his week @ church camp, so he could have joined us. Such a great several days...

...thanks for letting me brag a little. We just adore her. : )
