We spent Labor Day wknd. w/ my Mom's side of the family in Branson. We meet there every yr. on Labor Day wknd., and we look fwd. to it every yr. too! It's usually a pretty hectic wknd. that involves making a day trip back to Fayetteville on Sat. for a Razorback f.b. home game. Therefore, it gets us back to Branson in the wee hours of the morning on Sun. morning each yr. However, this yr. the first game was in LR. Woo hooooo! So, needless to say...none of the family members wanted to leave Branson to drive that far to the game. Seemed like an even longer, more relaxing wknd. than ever before.
We spent the beautiful wknd. eating delicious homemade meals and tons of desserts, shopping @ the outlet malls, visiting the Landing downtown, taking Kennedy and Ayan swimming @ the indoor pool, watching football together back @ the condo, playing games late @ night, playing w/ the babies, taking the kids to Silver Dollar City, etc. Kennedy and Ayan were just tall enough to be able to ride all of the kiddie rides, which made it SO much fun!
...by the way, I just love Lyla's face in the picture above.
It was SUCH a great wknd. together, and we're so thankful that Nana and Grandad reserve their timeshare each yr. to continue the tradition!
