Kennedy's 2nd birthday party (in town)

On the Sat. b/f K's b-day, we threw her an exciting party for family & friends @ the Jones Ctr. in Springdale. We rented out an awesome rm. w/ plenty of tables, a kitchenette & even a big screen t.v. We had a movie playing in the background (for those kids who were interested) & I placed color sheets/crayons around on every table to "help" entertain the kiddos as well. It was hilarious to look around & see ALL of the adults coloring as well! Actually...priceless!
We ate yummy cookie cake & fruit, and K got some wonderful b-day gifts! She even had a little "help" opening her presents from a couple of her little friends (including Miss Bella who I watch every day @ my house). She defin. didn't quite like the attention @ the beginning of the party & didn't even want to blow out her candle after everyone sang to her. However, she quickly warmed up to all of the excitement and had a fun time! She got several things that she really needed...like clothes for this Spring/Summer! We were so thankful that she received some much needed warm weather clothes, esp. since her baby brother will be arriving around the same time. She also got a few sets of artificial "food" for her play kitchen. She has been using her imagination ever since Christmas in preparing "food" in her kitchen, and I have often even resorted to emptying/cleaning out food containers in our own kitchen to let her pretend w/. She LOVES having food to "cook" now!
And, she received her new 'big girl' bedding @ her party too. K transitioned to her 'big girl bed' (as she calls it) VERY smoothly last month & now has beautiful new twin bedding to put on it! I picked it out a while back & has been excited to put it on her bed and complete the rm. So, that we did!
After the party, several of our family members & friends went to eat lunch @ Mad Pizza together. So delicious & a fun time together!

Thank you to all who were involved in her special day! We love you all!
