A couple of weekends ago, Mom's entire family made their way to BA (to Mom/Dad's house) for Kennedy & Ayan's joint 2nd birthday party. It was SUCH a fun wknd.! P had to come back for church Sun. & caught a ride w/ my cousin, but I was able to stay through Sun. & go to my home church with Mom & Dad. Steph & Ayan were able to stay the entire wknd. as well, so we had fun spending some more time together w/ the kiddos.
The only joint b-day theme that K & Ayan both enjoy is Elmo, so Elmo it was! K's only watched a handful of episodes EVER of Sesame Street, but yet has always taken to Elmo for some reason. Gammi bought them both an Elmo balloon surrounded w/ several other brightly colored ballons & even ordered them fun Elmo cupcakes...which they LOVED!
Every single family member was able to make it in town for the party except our brother-in-law (who had to work)...and we were grateful to ALL of them!
We were able to meet a beautiful member of the Kizzia family on Sat. as well! Baby Ciera was only 1 wk. old & we TRULY enjoyed getting to love on her the entire afternoon! Kennedy was MORE than in love w/ her, kept asking us to hold her (so she could sit w/ us & "help" hold her too), and even cared more a/b the new baby than eating her b-day cupcake! It was a true JOY to celebrate her new life w/ such great friends & family, and we just adored our time w/ her sweet cousin Eli! He is one of the most precious boys we've had the privilege to be around!
B/f the extended family left to drive home Sat. night, we ate a yummy dinner @ Ted's in BA. I guess you could call it a 'post birthday' dinner for several of us in the family (Patrick/myself/Dad/Nana). It was lots of fun too, and Ayan & K had a blast sitting across the dinner table from each other!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNEDY! You look adorable in your black and white dress. I know you are loved by so many people and it is so neat that they get to come celebrate with you (and Elmo!). :)
