Yoojeong's baptism

One of the sweetest, most compassionate girls Patrick and I have ever come in contact with is Yoojeong. She is our international student from S. Korea involved heavily this past yr. in MBSF. Well, for those who don't already know Yoojeong or haven't heard a/b her from one of us...I won't give details on here, but you should ask us in person sometime!

One of the huge prayer requests we've shared w/ many friends and family members over these past 2 semesters was for Yoojeong's salvation. Our pastor/pastor's wife, church members, and college students have all shared the same burden as well.

But, PRAISE THE LORD...
Yoojeong was saved approx. a month ago! She will now spend her eternity in Heaven w/ all of her friends and new "family" who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior as well. We are thrilled for her and proud of this huge step she recently made! We know she's going to be a shining light for HIM, and can't wait to see how she continues to grow in her faith and in her knowledge of our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

She will be returning back home this June as this was only a one year study abroad program for her. And we will miss her sweet face & her tight hugs SO much! However, please join us in lifting up Yoojeong in prayer as she returns home and continues on her new journey! And for those who are faithful to remember her...please also lift up her friend/roommate (while on campus) Surim. Surim also lives in S. Korea and has not accepted salvation as of now. We know that the Lord can work a miracle in her life as well!

We were able to celebrate w/ Yoojeong a couple Sunday's ago as she followed the Lord's command for scriptural baptism. We are so proud of her and we love her SO much! Thank you Lord for working such a miracle in Yoojeong's life!
