F.R.E.E. wknd. w/ our MBSF students (July)

The last wknd. of July this summer, Patrick & I hosted a 'F.R.E.E. wknd.' (retreat) for all of our MBSF students. It was a chance to get all of the students back in town for the wknd., have some fun w/ them around town, get them all excited a/b the upcoming semester, and all get on the same page a/b our goal & expectations for the new yr. in MBSF. Patrick did a wonderful job planning it all & we had a great time staying in the hotel w/ the students both nights. We certainly want to start making this an annual event each summer from now on!
I believe everyone had a really fun wknd. full of grilling out @ local parks, sand volleyball, tour of Razorback stadium & the Broyles complex, ice-skating, Arkansas Naturals baseball game, church on Sun. together, etc.!
Kennedy stayed w/ Grandma & Papaw one night, and cousin Eric & Leah the next. She did get to go through the tour w/ us, however. Then we got her back b/f Sun. school early Sun. morning for good! She had a great wknd. as well!

F.R.E.E. stands for the fact that we are:
F - Forgiven by the grace of God

E - Expectant of the challenges to come on campus
E - Equipped with the Word of God to face those challenges.
