The new semester of MBSF

We have been CRAZY-BUSY w/ MBSF already this semester, as we have been trying our hardest to get it all up off the ground & going strong! Patrick has been busy this summer planning several events for the upcoming semester, purchasing new audio/video equipment for our weekly bible study/mtg., traveling around the state doing student recruiting, etc. We also kept insanely busy w/ deputations almost weekly this summer (Sun. nights mostly)!
All of our students (including the 24 contacts Patrick met face-to-face this summer coming up this Fall as new freshmen) moved up a few weeks ago, & classes started last Monday on each of the diff. campuses around the area. Patrick helped many move in to their dorms, met families, & calmed nerves during the transition. We also scheduled several events on campus to get our name out to the students @ the Univ. of Arkansas. This is the first yr. that we are an RSO (Registered Student Organization) @ U of A in 54 yrs. of this ministry, so we're really starting from scratch in some ways.

Here are some of the events we were involved in:
- movie night on Old Main lawn on campus (on our big screen)
- passing out popsicles/ministry info. to the Razorback band after rehearsals
- ice cream social/flyer handout after freshmen pep rally during 1st wk. of classes
- working a booth @ Razorbash by student union on campus
- passing handouts to dorms on campus
- first Thurs. night LIFELINE bible study/mtg. @ the park
- ETC.!

If you're reading this, please lift this ministry, the students, & our family up in prayer this semester. We TRULY need prayer each & every day as we're fighting such a huge battle on campus each wk. Satan has already tried to jump in & ruin certain things even this early in the semester. We need your prayer & encouragement to remain an encouragement to others. May we be a shining light for HIM & may our testimony be shared to many. God bless those who will be faithful to do so...
Love to all!

I'm praying for you guys - the surest sign that God is at work is when you feel the battle getting stronger.

Blessings to you! thanks for keeping us updated.
