Church fish fry

We recently had our church's annual fish fry held in our church parking lot. Members, visitors, college, youth, children, our hispanic congregation, and anyone else you can think of is invited.
I spent some of the afternoon (w/ help from a close friend @ church) priming the newly built shelves/cabinets in the nursery, while Kennedy took a nap in another rm. Patrick spent the afternoon w/ some families from church watching the Razorback (away) game on our church's lg. projection screen. The sound system was set up and all. They had fun...minus the outcome of the game (again)!
That night the rest of the church family showed up w/ food in hand to share in some yummy fish, fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw, salad, desserts, etc. One of the sweet couples from church volunteer each yr. to catch & cook all of the fish that's eaten that night. Wow! It's always a lot of fun being w/ close friends outdoors for a couple of hrs.! One of our college students even had a little fun on a church member's motorcycle too...her first ride ever.
