Mema's 80th birthday party

Recently, Mema Spicer (Patrick's-Mom's-Mother) celebrated her 80th birthday w/ the family. We all drove to Ft. Smith for the evening & enjoyed each others' company immensely. Even Uncle June-June & Uncle Stan/Aunt Daronda all flew in to surprise her! It was wonderful getting to meet some of the extended family who I have never met b/f & who Patrick hasn't seen in years! Even one of Mema's living sisters made it to the party. We truly enjoyed visiting w/ several of Phyllis' cousins whom she grew up around. She received several nice gifts, but esp. loved her new potato/onion bin that Nathan made for her. How sweet!

And of course, besides the yummy food...the cousins (Kennedy/Taylor/Courtney) all enjoyed spending some time playing as well!

Happy 80th birthday Mema! We love you & celebrate the beautiful heritage that you have allowed the Lord to create!

Those are some great pictures. I really enjoyed her birthday party. I am so glad we were all able to get together to celebrate her very special day. (Just in case you wanted to know...you put Aunt Cindy instead of Daronda.)Love ya!
