However, Kennedy recently re-found her baby bottle which came w/ her favorite Cabbage Patch baby. Thanks to Aunt Vicki/Uncle Kirk for such a perfect and wonderful Christmas gift this past Christmas! She has loved it since day 1, but seems to love it even more now! She "changes" the diaper on it as well, feeds the baby the bottle, hugs/kisses the baby, burps the baby, etc. QUITE often! She also LOVES all of her stuffed animals now too! Yea! They're finally getting put to good use and she just adores them really. She has to sleep w/ a few during each nap/bedtime. The same 3/4 are pretty consistent by now though! Her giraffes, plush doll, puppy dog, and of course lov-ee are the winners usually.
When Kennedy isn't playing w/ her fav. baby or stuffed animal though, she is "reading" a book. We started collecting children's books b/f we were even pregnant w/ her to gain a good collection by the time we had children. Patrick and I have a PASSION for searching for good children's books @ used book stores. We love to go to one when we're ever visiting a fun/new town (ex. Branson). Kennedy loves to bring them to us, sit in our lap, and ask us to "wead" her book to her. : ) Quite often though, we find her sitting in our bedroom (where the bookshelf is located) all by herself, "reading" them to herself. She is quite the lil' talker and is just jabbering away while pointing to the pictures/words. We love it!
Here are some recent shots of her doing what she loves most! Here she's "cleaning" her baby doll w/ wipes and reading one of her favorite books w/ Daddy. (Notice the lovely strawberry on her elbow? It was her first!)

Lin, I love all the new pictures and stories. Great job!! I love seeing my baby girl. I'm so glad that she and Ayan love their books. Love you bunches!
You have such a happy little girl! Does she ever cry? :) That's so cute about Kennedy and her books - I wanted lots of books for our kids too. Thanks for the suggestion about bath time - we don't usually do them at night, but we might have to start trying. The first two nights of our new schedule were great but she has a little colic every now and then so last night was rough. I hope we're back on track tonight! Keep the suggestions coming. We can use them as often as you have them!
We found this little site awhile back about receiving a book a month until your baby is age five, all for free. Program started by Dolly Parton. We signed up and have already started receiving books. Anyways, thought you might be interested.

So glad to hear that Kennedy loves to "Read". That is WONDERFUL! You guys are doing a great job. The pictures of her taking care of her baby doll are so sweet. Have you read the Fancy Nancy book series? She is a bit young, but they are so cute and she would love them. They also have a Fancy Nancy doll and accessories at Target.
